Folie Ordinaire is a London based band that came together from different countries and musical backgrounds resulting in a crossover of post punk, new wave and electro disco. Their sound is based on synth arpeggiators, funky glam guitars, a powerful bass and drum groove and sexy revolted lyrics performed in intense shows that often develop into a party.

They quickly gained a reputation for putting the liveliest shows and expressing an immense burst of energy on every song they play. Their energetic, blistering live performances are a celebration of the carnal spirit and a wake up call to break free from “ordinaire” hidden inhibitions and postmodern apathy and alienation. With a raw directness that resembles that of 70′s punk, their lyrics can also be a sex charged parodic tribute to the disco era heroes, for which lead singer Antoine digs into the french tradition to pull out provocative whispered lyrics that he sings with his entire body.
